Deletes the selected text.

Return type: LOGICAL

Applies to: BROWSE widget (column), COMBO-BOX widget, EDITOR widget, FILL-IN widget

Syntax

EDIT-CLEAR ( )

If the widget performs the operation successfully, the method returns TRUE. Otherwise, it returns FALSE.
